You might be reading this thinking, “I’m lucky to get through the day. Wonder Woman?? Not so much.”.

Girl, your mind is powerful. Like Jedi Mind Trick powerful!

So, how are you caring for this amazing super power?

Let me ask you this? Do you care for your mind like you do your family, friends, ministry, business, or that delicious piece of decadent chocolate cake you had last weekend?

If you’re like most women in the world....I’m guessing not.

I know women, and maybe this is you, who get up early to exercise.
They will prepare a glorious meal with real, all natural food.
They only buy chemical free products for their home.


They fill their mind with foul, hateful, and nasty lies about themselves. All the live long day.

In fact, these thoughts are so awful they can’t even be spoken in front of their kids or the older ladies at church.

Sister, if you want beautiful, wonderful, and joyous freedom, you gotta start strengthening your mind. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “What you think about, you bring about.”.

It’s time to start focusing your mind on your Creator.
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4: 7

Here are 4 ways you can begin to give your mind the care it needs. 

1. 30 Minutes of Quiet Time with God

You, God, and your Bible. I love connecting with Him first thing in the morning over a hot cup of coffee and my Bible App. I LOVE the YouVersion Bible App! Some might even say it's my new addiction. HA! There are so many amazing reading plans you can dive into. The plans or short enough, even a busy Mom can find the time. 

2. Exercise

Listen, I don't like writing that dreadful word anymore than you like doing it. BUT, I gotta say, adding exercise into my week has really helped bring peace to my mind, body, and soul. I've found myself praying during exercise. Last week at a kick boxing class I pictured the word FEAR and I kicked the crap out of fear. Exercise is not my jam BUT God gave me one body and I need to take care of it!

3. Laughter

When is the last time you had a good belly laugh? Satan cannot exist in laughter. Watching a comedy or being silly with my kids always lifts my mood. Give yourself permission today to let loose and not be so serious. Check out John Crist! There is no shortage of laughter on his YouTube Channel! 

4. Reading Good Books

I never have a shortage of books on my nightstand. I love reading books that fill my soul! Here are some of my recent favorites!
